Air Astana launches direct flight between Astana and Tbilisi
"In view of the increased tourist flow the biggest air company of Kazakhstan Air Astana decided to launch a direct flight between Astana and Tbilisi since June 2, 2015. We are confident that this route will be very popular and help develop tourist potential of both countries," the Ambassador said at the business forum "Astana-Batumi", which is held in Astana.
He also added that the new route will help to increase the passenger flow between our countries.
"The number citizens of Kazakhstan visiting Georgia has increased significantly over the recent year. It demonstrates that the relations between the two countries are dynamically developing and it also shows a great potential of the tourist sphere for our countries," Z. Pataradze said.
It should be noted that the number of citizens of Kazakhstan visiting Georgia in 2014 grew by 40% compared to 2012 and by 38% in 2014 compared to 2013.
