Air Astana reduces fuel duty for domestic flights
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Air Astana Company informs about the reduction of the fuel duty by 25% since February 2015 for domestic flights, the company informs via its Facebook account.
"We are glad to inform you that we reduce the fuel duty by 25% for domestic flights. Air Astana Company will continue to monitor the changing situation on the market and react accordingly being aware of its social responsibility before its clients," President of Air Astana Company Peter Foster said. The fuel duty for domestic flights was introduced in April of 2012 in order to partially compensate the growing prices for the fuel. The company didn't change its prices despite the depreciation of the national currency in February of the last year. The reduction of the fuel duty was possible because of the lowering of prices for the aviation fuel.
