Aircraft fail to land in Atyrau due to anomalous atmospheric pressure

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM - Atyrau International Airport prohibits Boeings and Airbuses landing due to anomalous atmospheric pressure.

In Atyrau on Saturday, as on Friday, there have been canceled all flights operated by "Air Astana". The reason is 790 mm of mercury at which takeoff and landing of large aircraft is dangerous.

"Air Astana" offers passengers of the canceled flights a refund or reschedule of the flight. Forecasters say that the abnormally high pressure in the Atyrau region will remain until February 4.
