Airfarewatchdog launches hotel comparison site
PARIS. KAZINFORM The world of hotel comparison websites, dominated by players like Kayak, Trivago and Hipmunk, is about to get crowded with the launch of another metasearch site, this time by Airfarewatchdog.

Like its airline equivalent, Hotelwatchdog claims it will sift through millions of data points and information to deliver filtered search results that go beyond cheap room rates and extends to location and ratings. The pitch? Their site will do the grunt work for you, delivering the top, value hotels. Comparison pricing is culled from online travel agencies and hotel-specific sites. Search results include ratings and reviews from TripAdvisor, lists of amenities and prices from different booking sites like Expedia and Hotels.com. The premise is similar to that of Airfarewatchdog, which claims to post airfares that are unadvertised or short-lived, Relaxnews reports.
