Akhmetov expressed condolences over plane crash in S Kazakhstan
ASTANA. December 26. KAZINFORM Opening a session on the ore mining sector development today, Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov expressed condolences to the families of those killed in a plane crash.

"Yesterday, a military transport plane of border patrol personnel of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan crashed near Shymkent. 27 people died including the heads of the Border Service of the National Security Committee and military men. This is a great loss for families and friends and for the Armed Forces of the country. This is a loss for all Kazakhstanis. I express sincere and deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the plane crash," S.Akhmetov said.
Participants of the session observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of those who died in the crash.
