Akhmetov held session on regulation of production and turnover of alcoholic products
Addressing the participants of the meeting - representatives of the major producers of alcoholic products, public associations, heads of a number of public services - Akhmetov focused on the existing problems in the industry.
Minister of Finance B.Zhamishev, Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning M.Kussainov, as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Kokshetauminvody" A.Aliyev and President of "KazAlko" Association A.Kaliyev delivered their reports.
As noted by Akhmetov, the work on creation of the service for the protection of consumer rights entitled "Kazpotrebnadzor" is underway. This body will become a powerful tool to support domestic producers, the Prime Minister said.
Summing up the discussion, Akhmetov supported the continuation of work on the commissioning of unused production capacity, improving product quality and adopting measures to reduce illegal products in the market.
Akhmetov said that the working group with the participation of producers of alcoholic beverages developed concept of the bill proposing the amendments to the legislation on the production and sales of alcoholic beverages.
After the meeting Serik Akhmetov visited the factory for the production of polypropylene bags LLP "Novopek".
