Akim of Almaty region to study out job cuts at Taldykorgan plant

ASTANA. January, 19. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Today at the teleconference Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has commissioned Akim of Almaty region Serik Umbetov to study out the situation with undisclosed job cuts at ?Kainar? LLP, Kazinform correspondent reports.

?We have received information that concealed job cuts take place at the lead-acid accumulator plant of ?Kainar? LLP. This issue has great importance because the KZ Government identified the fight against unemployment as its main task for 2009. Taldykorgan plant of lead-acid accumulators was founded in 1975. Main activities of the company - the production of lead acid batteries and rechargeable batteries as well as spare parts to them.
