Aktau and Kuryk seaports’ throughput at 21mln tons, says minister

The overall throughput of Aktau and Kuryk seaports stands at 21 million tons, Kazakh transport minister Marat Karabayev said, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

According to the minister, the country’s trade fleet includes 20 vessels, including two tankers in the Black and Mediterranean Sea, 11 tankers in the Caspian Sea, four cargo ships and three container ships.

In 11 months of this year, the volume of traffic through seaports was 6.5 million tons, a 10% increase compared with last year, added Karabayev.
