Aktau hosted Kazakh-Czech Economic Forum

Governor of Mangystau region Alik Aidarbayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomáš Dub, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan Bedřich Kopechý were in attendance.

In his opening remarks, the governor of the region stressed that the foundation of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic had been laid by President Nursultan Nazarbayev during the last visit to Prague.

"Kazakhstan's resources together with Czech technologies can boost mutual development of the two countries. This forum is a reflection of good intentions to join efforts for the implementation of bilateral cooperation," he said.

Kazakhstan has carefully examined activities of the leading Czech companies after the visit of a delegation from Mangystau region to the Czech Republic. "We are particularly interested in technologies of the Czech companies working in the sphere of design, construction and engineering," the governor added.

Reps of Puro-Klima Export, Atelier Penta, Tree of Life, Zliner, Zliner Enegry, Pozemni stavitelstvi Zlin companies made presentations and reports within the framework of the Aktau forum.
