Aktau launched hollow core slabs production plant
According to the regional Akimat, Governor of Mangystau oblast K. Kusherbayev, deputies of the Senate and Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament - Mikhail Bortnik, Zhansseit Sarsenkulov, Zeinolla Alshymbayev, Gulnar Seitmaganbetova and Serik Ospanov - participated in a ceremony of launch of the enterprise.
As is known, since the beginning of 2010 all regions of the republic have set to implementation of the State program of forced industrial-innovative development. Local executive bodies set to activation of economic growth through its industrialization, establishment of high-technological productions. Within the fulfillment of the President's instructions on diversification of industry, the Government has developed an Industrialization Map of the country which includes more than 230 investment projects 140 out of which are to be completed by the yearend.
Thus, in the first half of 2010, 74 new productions including 4 projects in Mangystau oblast were launched. These are a ship-repair yard and an offshore oil operations support base in Tupkaragan municipality; an elevator complex with a grain terminal in Beineu village; the second stage of the plant on pressure tanks production in Aktau.
17 projects of Mangystau oblast worth KZT 541 bln have been included in the Industrialization Map to date. Their implementation will allow creating over 26 thousand jobs. And the hollow-core slabs production plant is one of five projects commissioned by the end of the year.
"Due to the State program of forced industrial-innovative development today we see significant growth in volumes of production in processing sector. Following 10 months of 2010 this figure across the country made 18%, in Mangystau region it reached 43%", K. Kusherbayev said.
The plant will employ over 100 people with preference given to local citizens.
Manufacture of hollow core reinforced concrete slabs is based on modern German technologies; therefore high quality of the products lets the plant access to the international market.
