Aktau to set up Regional resource centre

AKTAU. January 5. KAZINFORM. /Zhetibay Shakhanuly/ Regional resource center uniting more than twenty non-governmental organizations will start its work in Aktau in 2009. The idea on establishment of the centre was initiated by the NGOs entering the structure of ?Civil Alliance? Association.

According to Chairman of the Association Zhaksygul Makhanbetova, the region?s 2009 budget provides with means for opening affiliates of the functioning NGOs in districts and villages. Propaganda of healthy lifestyle, basis of legal, public and ecological literacy, adaptation measures for the repatriates will become main directions of the center?s work.
