Despite the price of a liter of gasoline being 59 tenge, motorists have to wait for extended periods of time. Some fuel stations in Aktobe provide service exclusively to customers with coupons, while those selling gasoline for cashobserve lengthy queues.

“This is the first time this situation has arisen this year. We’ve been seeing the gas shortage for the past couple of days. To buy fuel, one has to wait for one and two hours, and sometimes up to three hours. I stand in line in the morning and evening. The price of fuel is 59 tenge per liter. However, there are numerous locations where fuel is not available," a driver from Aktobe, Aydos Berdybayev,” said.

The Aktobe Regional Department of Entrepreneurship has announced that the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has allocated 10,960 tons of liquefied gas for distribution this month. However, the demand far exceeds this volume.

The Aktobe region requires 16,000 tons of gas, yet the Ministry of Energy has only allocated 10,960 tons for July. At present, the refineries intend to release 264.3 tons of fuel, with an additional 504 tons of liquefied fuel scheduled to arrive this week from the Atyrau refinery.
