Aktobe region to build 44 schools
In the next two years, 44 new schools for 24 thousand sits are to be constructed in Aktobe region, the region’s governor Askhat Shakharov said, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
According to him, there are four three-shift and five emergency schools as well as 41 old schools not meeting the up-to-date requirements.
He added that the total number of school places needs to be increased by 18 thousand in the region.
This year, five schools have been commissioned. To address the issue of a school places shortage, 44 new schools for 24 thousand school places are expected to be built in the next two years. In addition, there are concrete solutions for six out of 41 old schools. Solutions for the rest 35 rural schools are to be found throughout the next five years, said Shakharov.
