Aktoty Raimkulova elected president of International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel met with Culture Minister of Azerbaijan Adil Kerimli to discuss the current state and prospects for bilateral and multilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Bayel said cultural cooperation is an important part of bilateral relations. He thanked the minister for supporting the embassy’s initiatives. In his turn, the minister thanked Kazakhstan for active support of cultural and humanitarian bilateral ties and within TURKSOY.

The sides also discussed preparations for the Culture Days of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to be held this December in Baku.

The sides expressed hope for further development of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation led by the newly-appointed president Aktoty Raimkulova of Kazakhstan. Merited figure of Kazakhstan, professor, composer Aktoty Raimkulova was appointed the president of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation at the X Summit of the Organization of the Turkic States on November 3, 2023.
