Al Hilal Bank's loan portfolio amounts to $35M
ASTANA. March 10. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Al Hilal Bank's loan portfolio in Kazakhstan amounts to USD 35 million. Aidyn Tairov, chief financial officer and member of the board of Al Hilal Bank, made it public at the Majilis session of the issues of Islamic financing development on Thursday.
He pointed out that the major sources of financing are the bank's own capital and deposits of the parent bank. At present, Al Hilal Bank ranks 31st among 39 banks operating in Kazakhstan by the amount of assets (6,810,153 thousand tenge) and 26th among 39 banks by the amount of capital (6,015,155 thousand tenge).
Exactly one year ago, as part of an interstate agreement signed by the governments of Kazakhstan and Abu Dhabi, the Islamic Bank AL HILAL JSC has received a license of the Financial Supervision Agency to conduct banking operations.
