“It is very disappointing that we were unable to secure a medal, let alone a victory. I would like to address the Kazakhstani people personally. I apologize to everyone for not being able to win even a couple of matches, let alone a medal. The last time we played double’s with Aleksandr Nedovyesov was at the Davis Cup back in 2022. During the brief training period, we were able to secure a single set victory. It's hard to judge. I personally don't play doubles a lot, so we there was a lack of chemistry between us. But that's no excuse. We should have beaten at least one of our opponents,” Bublik said.

It bears to remind that American Taylor Fritz defeated Alexander Bublik in Men’s Singles First Round of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As of July 29, two Kazakhstani tennis players Alexander Bublik and Aleksandr Nedovyesov failed in the Men’s Doubles First Round. Brazilian duo Thiago Monteiro and Thiago Seyboth Wild defeated the Kazakh tandem with a score of 6:4, 6:4.
