Alexander Bublik after Davis Cup loss: We will come back stronger
World No. 27 Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan shared his thoughts on the performance of Team Kazakhstan in the World Group I First Round of the Davis Cup-2024 held in Astana, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“We will come back stronger,” the Kazakh tennis player posted on his Instagram.
It bears to remind that Alexander Bublik and Alexander Shevchenko lost in the Men’s Singles bouts.
Denmark’s duo of August Holmgren and Johannes Ingildsen defeated Alexander Bublik and Aleksandr Nedovyesov in the Men’s Doubles rubber in two sets with a score of 6:7, 3:6.
The competition resulted in a 3-0 defeat for Kazakhstan, which consequently failed to advance to the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifiers.
The Davis Cup qualifying matches consist of four singles and one doubles match. The 12 winning nations from the World Group I ties will compete in the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifiers.
