All residents of Kazakh village hit by bizarre sleeping sickness to be resettled

KOKSHETAU. KAZINFORM - Authorities of Akmola region vow to resettle all residents of Kalachi village hit by mysterious sleeping illness by May 2015.

According to governor of the region Sergey Kulagin, it was decided that the locals suffering from mysterious sleeping epidemic should be resettled regardless of factors causing the disease. Mr. Kulagin garnered financial support of local businessmen to assist villagers in the resettlement process. "8 families have already been resettled," the governor added. In his words, the residents of Kalachi village will be resettled to other districts of Akmola region. Of course, families with children are first in the line. The first 25-30 families are to move out this month. It is expected that Kalachi residents will all settle down in their new homes by May."
