All social programs implemented in Almaty: A. Yessimov

Party?s affiliate in Almaty city, akim (mayor) of the city Akhmetzhan Yessimov has informed of it today at the forum of the Party in Almaty, Kazinform correspondent reports.

According to the Akim all scheduled projects on development of transport and energy infrastructure were implemented in the city. In particular, construction of education and healthcare facilities was carried out last year. In total, KZT 55 bln were allocated to the development of these branches followed by the growth up to 31% in 2007. So, the construction of three schools in ?Kulager?, ?Kalkaman? and ?Ulzhan? micro-districts, three structural additions to urban schools and boarding schools for deaf children and children with hearing problems, four kindergartens in ?Kulager?, ?Shanyrak-1?, ?Mamyr?, ?Zhetysu-2? micro-districts as well as the hospitals in ?Zhuldyz? micro-district were completed in 2008. According to the Akim the implementation of these projects gave a good social effect. The city received over five thousand new jobs at schools and pre-schools that reduced their deficit by 17%.
