Almaty and Milan ready to cooperate in mutually beneficial spheres

ALMATY. October 25. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina ionova/ Almaty and Milan cities have entered into an Agreement on cooperation in mutually beneficial spheres. It was extended to Mayor of the city of Milan Letizia Brichetto-Arnaboldi Moratti by Deputy Mayor of Almaty Yerbol Shormanov within a visit of the city's delegation to Italy.

On the basis of friendly relations established between Kazakhstan and Italy the parties agreed on mutual exchange of experience and information in transport, culture, fashion industry and tourism. Besides, the document provides for studying the issues concerning development of joint projects in healthcare, industry and innovative technologies.

In a letter to Akim of Almaty A. Yessimov the Mayor of Milan noted necessity of mutual cooperation between the cities. She also informed that she would visit Almaty next year in order to establish and strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
