Almaty, Bishkek to develop economic corridor
ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty city administration and Bishkek mayor's office have signed the memorandum of mutual understanding on the Almaty-Bishkek Corridor initiative, the press service of Almaty's mayor reports.

The agreement on bilateral cooperation was concluded on November 6 within the framework of the 13th CAREC ministerial conference in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Under the memorandum the cities will join forces to develop the economic corridor and expand economic activities aimed at creating new workplaces, diversifying economy and contributing to sustainable development of Almaty and Bishkek cities. The memorandum will be implemented with the support of the Asian Development Bank and the Kazakh and Kyrgyz ministries concerned.
