Almaty discusses priorities of ‘green’ urban planning

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Today in Almaty the XII urban development forum themed "Priorities of "green" urban planning in the Republic of Kazakhstan" has kicked off.

The forum is organized by the Union of urban planners Kazakhstan jointly with the Scientific-educational center "Green Academy". "We have examined works which have been presented at the forum today. It is very important that they are related to "green" economy. The event has brought together experts from all regions of the country", said Akhmetzhan Yesimov, Mayor of Almaty. The purpose of the forum is to increase the capacity of domestic construction companies in the field of "green" economy in anticipation of EXPO 2017.
