Almaty holds int?l forum on project management

ALMATY. March 17. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Today Almaty holds an international forum on ?Project Management in Central Asia. Management Instruments amid the Crisis?. The event is held on the initiative of Kazakhstan Project Management Association and Kazakh National Satpayev Technical University under the auspices of ?Nur Otan? People?s Democratic Party.

Representatives of Nur Otan, scientific institutes, financial organizations, non-governmental organizations, and top managers of the biggest companies of the CIS, China, Britain and the USA take part in the conference. The forum is timely as all state structures, business and society have become interested in search of effective ways out of the crisis based on advanced experience and reliable information. Standards of project management and projects? portfolio management are the needed instruments. The forum?s main purpose is to create professional dialogue platform uniting representatives of public, business and civil structures for the promotion of project management in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, search for concerted decisions on the issues of creation of national standards of project management, improvement of corporate management systems, development of strategies of business strategies and attraction of investments amid the global economic crisis. ?The initiative of Kazakhstan Project Management Association supported by Nur Otan Party is a timely economic and political step towards overcoming the consequences of the world financial crisis.
