Almaty hosted festive event dedicated to Year of People’s Assembly

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty has hosted a festive event called "Bir halyk, bir yel, bir tagdyr" (One nation, one land, one destiny) dedicated to the Year of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan (PAK).

Uygur Theater of Musical Comedy named after K. Kuzhamyarov brought together representatives of all ethnic and cultural associations of the city. There was also held an exhibition of cultural values, traditions and customs of different ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. "This year is special, this is the year of unity, peace and accord. More than 130 nationalities live in Kazakhstan. This is possible thanks to the wise policy of the President of our country," said the head of the secretariat of Almaty branch of the organization, member of the PAK Margarita Abdaliyeva.
