Almaty hosted roundtable

MATY. November 2. KAZINFORM /Berik Bekmurzayev/ A roundtable entitled "Kazakhstan and UN: stages of cooperation" has been held in the National Library of Kazakhstan within the 20th anniversary of the country's independence in Almaty.

The issues of development and strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and UN, new tendencies in international relations and UN role in the globalization were discussed.

Head of the Kazakh MFA's representation office in Almaty Igor Mussalimov, UNDP Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan Stephen Tull, UN DPI Representative Vlastimil Samek, representatives of the akimat of Almaty and Bostandyk district, and others took part in it.
