Almaty hostel fire: 3 residents hospitalized

Three residents evacuated from a burning hostel in Almaty were brought to the Emergency Aid Hospital, Kazinform News Agency cites the city mayor’s office.

59 residents of the hostel were evacuated from the fire scene as of 08:40 am. Three of them were rushed to the Emergency Aid Hospital. 56 people were  accommodated temporarily in a nearby school. They were provided with meals and all required medical and psychological support. Within an hour they will be accommodated in the hotels of the district, the press service of the mayor’s office says.

As reported, 13 people were killed in the hostel fire in Almaty today early morning.
