Almaty hosts Food Week Kazakhstan for 20th time

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - The Food Week Kazakhstan has kicked off in Almaty city today. The Kazakhstan's largest food event brought together food companies from 12 countries.

"This is the 20th time we hold this food exhibition in Almaty. Throughout the years, it has become one of the most important events in food industry and agriculture. The exhibition showcases agricultural goods, food processing equipment, food products, beverages and more," representative of the International Exhibition Organization TNT Gennady Dyakin told Kazinform correspondent. In his words, 50 companies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and France will participate this year. The 20th Food Week Kazakhstan is set to run until May 22.
