Almaty Mayor, British Ambassador discussed organization of football match between Kazakhstan and England
ALMATY. May 13. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yesimov received British Ambassador to Kazakhstan Paul Brammel, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Mayor.

The main purpose of the visit is discussion of organization of the coming qualifying match between teams of Kazakhstan and England within the World Cup of 2010 that will be held in Almaty on June 6, 2009.
The sides discussed issues of residency of British fans in Almaty. A,Yesimov informed the Ambassador on preparation of hotels and other necessary infrastructure for the meeting of foreign guests on the high level.
As Paul Brammel informed, according to the preliminary data over 1500 fans from Great Britain will visit Almaty. This is the biggest delegation of British tourists ever visited our country. Over 80 journalists will arrive for coverage of the event will arrive as well.
The British Ambassador proposed to organize a contest of children?s drawing, devoted to football prior to the match.
The Mayor approved the proposal of the guest. A.Yesimov stressed the importance of the coming event for the city and the whole country.
At the end of the meeting the sides agreed to hold a friendly match between the fans of Kazakhstan and Britain on the initiative of Paul Brammel.
