Almaty Mayor extends March 8th congratulations

ALMATY. KAZINFORM Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov congratulated all women on the International Women's Day, March 8th, highlighting women's role in the development of the country's economy, sports and other fields.

"Above 370,000 women work in various areas, including 19,000 in industry, 29,000 in financial structure, above 56,000 in education, 36,000 women in healthcare and social spheres," the Mayor noted. As stated there women make up 54,4% of the city population.
