Almaty Mayor opens new hotel Holiday Inn Almaty

ALMATY. January 21. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has attended an opening ceremony of a new hotel Holiday Inn Almaty. It is the first international middle class hotel in Almaty and the first Holiday Inn – in Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports.

According to the Mayor, at present 93 hotels for 4,500 seats function in Kazakhstan. But the city needs at least 5 hotels. ?Almaty is a financial and tourist center, and it prepares for holding of the Asian Games?, the Mayor noted.
