Almaty Mayor opens new school in Alatau district

ALMATY. November 19. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has take part in the opening of a new 1.200-seat school.

The school was constructed within the "100 schools, 100 hospitals" program, the estimated cost of which made up KZT 1.995 bln. It consists of swimming pool, two gyms, fitness center and 340-seat auditorium, 240-seat dining room, two multimedia cabinets, two computer rooms, library with 24 computers with Internet.

"Such school is the second one in Almaty. It is special project. There were created all conditions for obtaining qualitative education", A.Yessimov emphasized.

According to him, construction of four schools are planned this year, the two out of them will be opened in the Alatau district.
