Almaty plane crash victims' families to get KZT 4 mln aid

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM As reported earlier, the plane crashed at 1:13 p.m. near Kyzyltu village of Almaty region on Tuesday.

16 passengers, including one child, and five crew members were onboard, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Fire, rescue and medical units, emergency psychological response groups of the Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan - a total of 123 people and 33 units of equipment - continue their work on the site of the plane crash in Almaty region.

The Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

The commission headed by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development Bakytzhan Sagintayev has already started to study the aircraft accident. The commission consists of Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Bozhko, Transport and Communications Minister Askar Zhumagaliev, representatives of the Prosecutor General Office, General Transport Prosecutor's Office and other state bodies.

Families of the victims will get aid in the amount of KZT 3 million from SCAT Air Company, and KZT 1 million from Akimats.
