Almaty to host 3rd Conference of Asian University Presidents
More than 20 universities of Asia-Pacific Region fought for the right to host this event. The Steering Committee made a decision to conduct the forum in Almaty based on the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University's achievements and high positions in the international rakings.
"This is a reflection of high competitiveness of our university on the international level, effective management and the right course of its strategic development. No doubt, the event will attract attention to the university, help establish strong links with the world's top-ranking tertiary institutions and exchange best practices," Professor Mukhambetkali Burkitbayev said.
The previous CAP conferences were hosted by Pusan National University (South Korea) and Chulalongkorn University (Thailand).
