Almaty to host International Conference on risk-management

ALMATY. January, 27. KAZINFORM /Dauren Zhailin/ V International Conference on risk-management will be held in Almaty from April 15 to 17. Well-known professor of economics from New-York University Nouriel Roubini is expected to take the floor at the conference. The top-managers of ?Eurasia? Insurance Company? JSC have informed about it today in Almaty at the special press-conference dedicated to the results of last year, Kazinform correspondent reports.

At a recent conference in Moscow in November, 2008 N. Roubini informed that the world economy would revive its growth in 2010. The professor became well-known two years ago when, at the economic forum in Davos, he announced that the world was coming to the financial abyss and hard times were about to come. As Executive Director of ?Eurasia? Company Kuanysh Dautov said the topical issues of the period of global economic slowdown would be on the agenda of the conference. First of all, it is a recession of the global economy and the associated fall in world market prices. Leading international experts and specialists on risk-management form over 25 countries of the world will deliver their speeches, share views and opinions at the conference.
