Almaty to host Kazakhstan's ever-first book festival

ALMATY. KAZINFORM The ever-first book festival of Kazakhstan Kitapfest will kick off on August 16 in Almaty, project manager Khadisha Myrzakhmet said.

It will feature lots of books of multiple genres of Kazakhstani, Russia and foreign authors. The guests will have an opportunity to buy books and participate in contests, seminars and share books. According to organizers, about 5,000 people are expected to attend the open-air event.
