Almaty to launch 8 new electric substations
ALMATY. November 12. KAZINFORM. /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ Eight electric substations to the amount of KZT 53 million are planned to be launched within the Program of Development and Modernization of Almaty Energy Complex in 2010.
Over last two years about 15 substations to the total amount of KZT 15.9 billion were constructed and repaired in Almaty by AZHK JSC and Almaty Akimat. Their total transformer capacity was increased by 778.7 megavolt-ampere.
According to Deputy Chairman of AZHK JSC Gani Salimzhuarov, new facilities will ensure stability of power supply for Almaty consumers. Eight more substations are planned to be built by 2015.
