Almost 34,000 young Kazakhstanis employed under Youth Practice program

33,984 Kazakhstanis were employed in 2023 under the Youth Practice program launched as part of the 2021-2025 National Entrepreneurship Development Project, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

The biggest number of those employed are in Turkistan region – 9,007, Kyzylorda region – 3,443, Zhambyl region – 3,047, and in Shymkent city – 2,568.

Those eligible for the Youth Practice program are unemployed people aged under 35, within 5 years after graduation from technical and vocational, post-secondary, higher or postgraduate education institutions, without an appropriate work experience in the profession (major) obtained.
