ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan holds a special place in Iran's foreign policy, Iran's ambassador to Astana Gorban Seyfi told Trend on Tuesday.

"One of the priorities mentioned in our Constitution is the establishment of relations with the Islamic countries and Kazakhstan is one such," he said.

Kazakhstan has been chosen as the venue for hosting the next round of talks on the nuclear programme between Iran and the 'Six' mediators to be held on February 26.

Earlier, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov said that Kazakhstan is ready to deliver a platform and create good conditions for the negotiations on the nuclear programme between the international community and Iran, Kazinform quotes TREND.az.
