Ambassador Turisbekov meets Kazakhstani students - Moscow

COW. November 10. KAZINFORM  /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Last Thursday Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Zautbek Turisbekov met with Kazakhstani students studying at the Moscow University of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kazinform cites the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Moscow.

The head of the diplomatic mission familiarized the students with the main directions and prospects of the Kazakh-Russian relations. In turn, the students expressed gratitude to the Embassy's staff for its constant support and attention. The guests pointed out Z. Turisbekov's personal contribution to professional training of the employees of internal affairs bodies of Kazakhstan in the years he held the post of the Minister of Internal Affairs.

As is known, in 2005 Kazakhstan and Russia MIAs agreed on sending Kazakh MIA employees to the Russian specialized higher educational institutions. Over these years 75 first and second-year students, employees of the Kazakh internal affairs bodies, have been sent to Russia's MIA universities.

Besides, twenty young Kazakhstanis were awarded Bolashak Presidential   Scholarship for studying at the Moscow University of the Russian MIA. They are expected to graduate in 2010.
