Amir Omarkhanov of Kazakhstan upset at Australian Open Juniors

No.4 of ITF Junior Ranking Amir Omarkhanov of Kazakhstan was upset in the third round of the Australian Open Juniors in Melbourne, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Olympic.kz.

The Kazakhstani tennis player was defeated by William Rejchtman Vinciguerra from Sweden in the third round of the tournament. The match ended with a score of 4:6, 6:4, 7:6 in favor of the Swedish tennis player.

Omarkhanov failed to advance to the quarterfinals, wrapping up his performance at the Australian Open Juniors.

It was earlier reported that Kazakhstan’s Omarkhanov has defeated world No. 482 Australian Ymerali Ibraimi.
