Another 96 trucks with humanitarian aid entered Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing on Tuesday, Israel’s agency coordinating government activities in the Palestinian territories (COGAT) said, TASS reported.

"Ninety-six trucks carrying international humanitarian aid were transferred to Gaza via the Rafah crossing," the agency said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter).

According to COGAT, 15 trucks delivered medical supplies, 31 trucks were carrying food, eight were carrying water, 19 delivered supplies for shelters and another 23 were loaded with mixed goods.

A World Health Organization (WHO) official earlier told Al Jazeera that the Gaza Strip needed 500 trucks of humanitarian aid every day.
