Another children’s trauma centre opens in Kazakh capital

One more children’s trauma centre was opened in Astana at the ground of city clinic No.2 to provide medical aid to children living in Saryarka and Baikonyr districts, Kazinform Agency reports.

The growth in population led to a growth in the number of those seeking medical treatment. This year more than 70,000 kids sought medical assistance at City Children’s Hospital No. 2 trauma centre, which exceeds those recorded last year. Most children seek treatment for minor traumas, injuries, and skin wounds.

The centre provides X-ray diagnostics and emergency bandaging services.
