Astana health department unveiled the condition of the four industrial climbers, who fell from height on Thursday, October 12, Kazinform Agency reports.

“Three patients were brought to the Municipal Multifunctional Hospital No2 after the fall from a height on October 12. All of them had multiple soft tissue injuries, closed fractures of ribs, pelvic bones, femoral bones, numerous internal organ tears, and high-grade traumatic shock. The patients were placed in intensive care unit and a surgery was conducted. One them, born 1999, died of fatal injuries at 05:40 pm,” a press release reads.

Two other victims, born 1999 and 2002, are in ICU, their condition is estimated as extremely severe.

As reported, four industrial climbers fell from a height at a construction site in Astana on October 12, Kazinform Agency reports.

One of them died before the arrival of the ambulance. The rest three were rushed to the hospital, the police department said in a statement.

An investigation is underway.
