Another powerful earthquake hits Afghanistan

Fresh powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted the Afghan province of Herat. Dozens of victims are reported, Kazinform Agency reports.

At least one person died, dozens were injured as a result of the quake, according to Euronews. 

Two minor aftershocks followed the quake.

This is the third major earthquake which occurred in the province of Herat within a month.

Nearly 1,400 people died in October 7 quake, WHO says. Another earthquake, which occured on October 11,  led to the death of at least one person, while hundreds were injured.

Many Afghan people have been living in tents after the first quake, for fear of returning to their homes.
