Anti-dumping, protective measures function within Customs Union

ASTANA. August 13. KAZINFORM Protective and anti-dumping measures of support of Kazakhstani, Belarusian and Russian manufacturers are taken within the framework of the Customs Union, reported with reference to the press service of the Ministry for Economic Integration of Kazakhstan.

Currently, 7 anti-dumping and 4 special protective measures are functioning within the Customs Union, the Ministry reports.

As the Ministry informs, these measures are aimed to support and protect manufacturers of the CU member states against unfair import from the third countries and deepen cooperation between enterprises.

Thereat, 3 new measures were taken in the Customs Union over 5 months of 2012. These are special protective measures as for caramel totaling 294.1 dollars per ton, anti-dumping measure as for steel forged rolls for rolling mills totaling 26% of the customs value, etc.
