Apartments of WWII veterans to be renovated in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Apartments of 84 veterans of the Great Patriotic War residing in Astana city will be renovated, officials say.

34 apartments will be renovated by local construction companies and 50 apartments - with the generous help of sponsors. It is worth mentioning that 8 apartments have already been repaired. Renovation works are underway at 16 apartments. The rest of the apartments will be renovated in summer. Recall that Kazakhstan celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) this year. Source: astana.kz.
