KARAGANDA-TEMIRTAU. June 27. KAZINFORM "A special commission on liquidation of accident consequences formed to investigate the causes of the large-scale accident that occurred at the metallurgical plant ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC in Temirtau, Karaganda will finish the work within ten days," Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev informed.

"A special commission on liquidation of accident consequences includes representatives of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the Ministry of Emergencies, Akimat of Karaganda region, the company and the law enforcement agencies," Issekeshev said.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minster stressed the situation is under control.

According to the Governor of Karaganda region, Baurzhan Abdishev, the commission will work day and night before the plant will obtain the pre-accident records.

General director of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC Vijay Mahadevan emphasized that all services of the company worked quickly and efficiently to prevent the consequences of the accident.

Meanwhile, the company has not released any information on the causes of the accident and the damage. "The causes are still unknown, the commission is working. We are working on the analysis of the damage caused, the most important thing - there are no casualties, " V.Mahadevan said.

According to deputy executive director for the repair of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC Vadim Basin about 200 people are involved in the liquidation of the accident consequences. It is planned the plant will obtain the pre-accident records till July 20.
