ASBC Asian Championships: Sagyndyk Togambay brings Kazakhstan another boxing gold

Boxer Sagyndyk Togambay of Kazakhstan earned gold at the ongoing ASBC Asian Elite Men Boxing Championships 2024 in Thailand, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the -92kg Men’s final, Togambay faced Tajik boxer Parviz Karimov who eventually settled for silver.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstani Makhmud Sabyrkhan and Bekzad Nurdauletov also captured gold in the 54kg and 86kg weight categories respectively at the Asian Boxing Championships in Thailand. Sanzhar Tashkenbay, Orazbek Assylkulov, Dulat Bekbauov and Ablaikhan Zhussupov took home silver in their respective weight classes.
