'Asia looks for joint development' is a motto of Boao Economic Forum-2013

BEIJING. January 29. KAZINFORM The Boao Economic Forum 2013 under the title "Asia looks for joint development: re-organization, liability and cooperation " will be held on April 6-8, 2013 in Hainan, China.

According to the secretariat of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), more than 2000 representatives of governmental, academic, business circles and the mass media from all round the world will take part in the Forum in 2013.

Besides, more than ten heads of foreign countries were invited to partake the event.

According to BFA Secretary General Zhou Wenzhong, Asian countries are interested in integration process in order to stimulate regional economic development.

In this context, this year's conference will focuses on topics: development and cooperation. "Many countries are still faced with economic problems, and it is important now to work together and find common ground to address the problems," Zhou Wenzhong said.

The annual conference will consist of 51 panel session, where participants discussed the issues of reform, transformation and innovation in various industries.

As a non-government, non-profit international organization, Boao Forum For Asia (BFA) is the most prestigious and premier forum for leaders in government, business and academia in Asia and other continents to share visions on the most pressing issues in this dynamic region and the world at large. The Forum is committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries even closer to their development goals.

The BFA member states are Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka,Tajikistan,Thailand,Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan,Vietnam, New Zealand and Israel.
