Asian Institute of Technology plans to open its branch in Kazakhstan in 2010

ASTANA. November 13. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is planning to open its branch in Kazakhstan. It was announced at the press conference dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the AIT.

According to the AIT President Said Irandoust, at present the institute carries out the work on attraction of the Central Asian states for active assistance in their higher education in the sphere of science and technique.

Besides, the memorandum of relationships was signed between the New University of Astana and AIT on academic and research activity. As First Vice President of the New University of Astana Maksat Mamashev emphasized, it is very important to have such key partners for us.
